CARGO INSURANCE

We have our own insurance for the goods we transport, in the form of “Freight Forwarder Liability Insurance”. It is important to know that this internationally recognized insurance has limited coverage of risks, as well as a limit on the liability itself depending on the weight of the goods.

For example, the approximate compensation that we could pay under this liability is:

• 10–11 euros per kilogram of goods for land freight

• 23–24 euros per kilogram for air freight

• About 4 euros per kilogram for sea transport

For this reason, we recommend that you take out additional cargo insurance for all cargo with a value above the above. In the case of sea transport, such insurance is mandatory, even for lower values.

If you wish, our team will conclude cargo insurance on your behalf and in your favor with a licensed and reputable insurer. The price of cargo insurance depends on several factors such as destination, type of transport, and cargo value, but generally varies between 2 and 3 euros per 1000 euros of cargo value.
